510 4speed questions

Recommended Posts

So I'm in the middle of a auto to 4 speed manual swap. I've had the trans rebuild, flywheel resurfaced, got the clutch master and pedal installed. I bought a clutch kit, and it came with a release bearing that I right away noticed was different from the one I have. So this got me thinking...what else of what I bought is wrong? Did I get the wrong trans? The clutch disc slides onto the trans and the cover lines up on the flywheel. The bearing sleeve I have is plastic too, when I google it I dont see any plastic ones. What would be the best solution to my problem?

Heres a photo dump of the parts, if you guys could take a look and make sure everything is correct thatd be great :)

Everything looks normal except the release bearing sleeve. Plastic you say? They are always metal. You will have to get the correct one and that new bearing will press right onto it.

#30501-N1601 is the part number for the 510 / 200mm clutch. Under $20 at Nissan
