Called cosmetic they said it would be around $2300 just to set up the tooling.

So a little help the block has been bored 40 over making it a 90mm.

Where can I get a head gasket for the head that is a for 90mm bore? Thanks in advance for your help.

SCE gaskets make custom copper gasket w/ crush rings.  No need to oring block with these.  Put copper coat they don't leak.

Give them a call.

I got one for my L20b.  It was $240.  I had them make it 89mm bore for the crush ring to fit inside the U67 (because of valve reliefs.)

Running turbo or what why do you need MLS? I don't think you need it..  Copper should be fine.  If you want to go crazy NOS, or big turbo oring the block.

I had previously asked a similar question on a different site but I never got a response.  Maybe someone here can provide some feedback.

I was curious if anyone has tried using a KA24DE MLS head-gasket and cutting the timing cover section off for an L20B. Does anyone know if the gasket holes line up correctly for an L-series.  I was just thinking it could be an option for members with turbocharged L-series...

They come in 90 and 91mm bore. Also, you can order different thickness options.

L,Z and KA engines have the same bore spacing. So an 89mm KA gasket would work on a 83mm L16. However the coolant holes are not located in the same positions. You would likely have to add some holes.

Screw buying and replacing gaskets. I'm in the process of making my own 0.020" copper head gasket. So far it's cost me $3.80 and I have enough for two gaskets.
