WI 720
Thanks for posting. You can upload your photos to photobucket or some other site and then link using the button that looks like a smal picure of a tree to post the link. it is next to the <> link. There is icon that looks like a switch in the upper right hand corner of the rich text tool bar. You may need to turn that on. Hopefully that helps. Maybe someone else can clarify. flatcat19
Use photo bucket. Load photos. C/P the IMG code to here. That easy. The KA will fit-yet not a bolt-in and go kinda deal. Lots of the info is on the forum though. Have fun reading. See you in a few months. Quote Link to comment
DatsunKing2014
Thanks alot guys will get some pics soon still not sure if im gonna do the swap though Quote Link to comment
Fat510
Just swap the cracked head off for a good one and you'll be fine. Going fuel injected isn't as easy or quick as it sounds Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Pull the head off and inspect. What makes you think the head is cracked? This is very unlikely unless the block froze last winter. Simplest answer is a blown head gasket. Quote Link to comment
DatsunKing2014
Well I pulled it off and found the head warped. So I took it to a machine shop he shaved it down and now im waitin on the gasket and shim. Ill post pics. flatcat19
Do you have any junkyards near you? Z24s should be a plenty out there. Maybe plan out a KA24E head swap with some R1 carbs. 1 Quote Link to comment

Needs high pressure fuel pump for the EFI, total wiring change over for EFI, engine mounts plus an oil pan that will clear your front differential, exhaust hook up. Quote Link to comment
DatsunKing2014
Ok thanks mike im probably just gonna put it back together and hope it works out just waitin on the head gasket to come in Quote Link to comment
DatsunKing2014
Plenty of junkyards but cant find one with any parts that will work datsuns are pretty rare here I guess Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
If you do eventually want to swap to a KA, look at using a truck block for better oil pan clearance. Quote Link to comment
