Never knew u can Fuse a Battery. since it is way holds the Volts. i would think wit or without the Fuse it would Be a Toaster. Your inner U-bot in the pic below should be on the other (right) side of the ridge/hump on the axle. The U-bolts should be parallel and yours aren't - there is more distance between the tops of the bolts than where they go through the plate below (splayed). The ridge is to keep your U-bolt in place.
