Here in my country the L16 is not the most popular but the Z20 is too used in public service cars, and the parts are easy to find and cheap. And my question is... If I bought a Z20 distributor, is it suitable in my engine? Help me please, friends. Thanks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 If the Z20 had only the 4 plug head then yes. Be sure to get the base pedestal with the rest of the distributor. I would guess the Z20 is still a points distributor in Bolivia? If not it may be the EI (electronic ignition) style that does not have points. If so you will need the coil that goes with it. Maybe post a picture of the Z20 dizzy with the cap off. Quote Link to comment
