mrpizzly
I am wanting to change my steering wheel to a thicker wheel and I found a produckt on amazon and I would like to know if it is a pain to replace the wheel, or if these parts even work in a 82 720? http://www.amazon.com/Universal-320MM-Black-Stitch-Steering/dp/B00H4LVZ7A/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1410895986&sr=8-6&keywords=steering+wheel http://www.amazon.com/Steering-Wheel-Adapter-Nissan-Datsun/dp/B00GH68XWS/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410895586&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=1982+datsun+boss Quote Link to comment
Justin Berni
Idk If that'll fit, if it says 720 I don't see why it wouldn't though. It's super easy to remove and install. Quote Link to comment
nismofo
Does your truck already have a hub? If so then yes that steering wheel will work. If it doesn't you will have to buy a hub also. I have a 1980 that came with a hub so my wheel bolted right on. You may have to enlarge the holes in the steering wheel slightly. 320 mm is really small. I currently have a 350mm Nardi Deep Corn leather in my truck and wouldn't go any smaller, especially if like me you have no power steering. I had a nardi deep corn 330mm in my 240sx and even in that car I wouldn't go any smaller. Factory wheel is probably around 380mm. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Also go for thick padding. My 710s were like holding on to a piece of wire. Long trips and your hands would bruise. (well not black and blue but sore) Replaced them with zx wheels, look great, well padded, slightly smaller so more effort required parking but response can be quicker on the highway. 2 Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
**WARNING: AVOID THAT STEERING WHEEL AT ALL COSTS!** See the hundreds of videos on Youtube for the answer why. Search for cheap eBay/Amazon steering wheel. They are flimsy and can bend the spokes easily, they can also break or come apart at the spokes. Get a good quality steering wheel. You can get a new Grant for less than $100. And a Grant adapter for less then $50. Quote Link to comment

JoeCool
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYZLU0mYx0c#t=71 Another one: This one shows the "quality" of a cheap Ebay hub as well. Quote Link to comment
