So I was driving and boom I hear like a pop and then my "v" belt that goes on the alternator starts squealing .... I check it out and the two bolts that go on the lower part of the alternator are missing

My question is what size are those bolts because I want to replace them... I can't go to a junk yard because there isn't any 620 in LA plsss help it's my daily ...

The bracket is the thing on the block that the alternator bolts to. The two bolts on the alternator are just the alternator mounting bolts.

I would set the belt tension first with the adjusting bar and bolt, then tighten the two alternator mount bolts.

Ok the alternator mounting bolts what size are they .. I tried using a 12 mm but it didn't work

is it the m8x1.25?

Did you take the bracket off the engine to see if the bolts had come out?

Sometimes they don't come out, they break off, so you need to look to see if there is a hole to put a bolt into in the first place.

The alt, bolts holding the alt. to the alt. bracket have a 12mm head normally, the 3 bolts holding the bracket to the engine are much larger.
