CicliDevotion
I can barely make out the faintest traces of the DATSUN decal on the lower left corner of my '84 720. (It was removed by a previous owner) I'd like to replace it. I recall someone here knew the part number but I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know where I might find it? Also, were they black or white on this color of yellow? Think it'd be weird to add the DATSUN back but not the large NISSAN? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
96995-10W02 or superseded number.... 96995-10W27 DATSUN decal white about $25 Quote Link to comment
CicliDevotion
Thanks! Would white have been the factory color on this yellow? Or was black also an option? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Thanks! Would white have been the factory color on this yellow? Or was black also an option? Short answer- yes. I've seen both on yellow. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I would call that more tan or buff than yellow. White wouldn't show up well on a yellow. Quote Link to comment
CicliDevotion
Two strikes today... My local Nissan dealer was only able to locate the DATSUN sticker for me in white AND the cost was over $40! Does anyone have a black one they could sell? Or know of a source for them?!? CicliDevotion
Thanks for the reply. But I'm looking for the DATSUN letters that go on the lower left, about 1.5" tall... Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
One of the other members on here paid a guy 10 bucks to let him trace the "4 wheel drive" sticker off that guys truck. Then he cleaned it up and took it to a local sticker shop. Maybe not optional, but if someone will trace it for you or you find a truck to trace it off, you can go that route Quote Link to comment
