jrock4224 Posted September 9, 2014 Report Share Posted September 9, 2014 so new project .... 71 1200 me and hans(blue sedan and red 521) went halfsies on a 1200 fast back from 510 keeper....is mustard and got potential .... no time for a build thread right now cause i forgot im loading about 2000 pics off my phone and stupidly didnt stop the download two weeks ago..... will do a build thread..as soon as the pics stop loading ... micheal (skybblue) has the credit with findin us the car.... hans went and picked it up and now my part.....i need stuff links to upgraded and lowering the struts in the front out back i assume blocks ? need a source for window rubbers and door seals.. need a hood and front fenders at some point.... need alot of misc trim ... the motor turns over but thats it .. no spark and we just drunkingly tried to not burn up the harness and fake it to run .. no bueno ... sky blue has some pics ... not a bad car, almost all there .. some rust in the floor, easy fix..... sorry to be so brief .. attorneys, court and crazy springer shit makes my life hectic ... . and if your reading this >>>Hi amber, this car is not part of the divorce ... get a hobby and stop snooping.. i dunno just looking for direction i guess .. gonna be super low with push rod motor with 5 speed .....14 or 15's and a vynil roof put back on it ... should be fun .... looking for another but adam leazer didnt accpet my low ball offer on mines 1200...(greens my thang..) 3 Quote Link to comment

Sky knows a lot and can attest ....... Plates are yours Michael ....... Looks a lot better ....... No plan for paint leaving patina and making it a solid working and runner ........ I finally convinced my buddy paint is last ........ Anyway what's the truck set ups ....... I see Datsun freak running a irs not sure I wanna go that far ....... What's the trick to. As I recall, the auto driveshaft works on the dogleg. The straight 5spd has the small output shaft like the 1200 trans, but the dogleg has the bigger shaft like a 510/620/Z. Unlike on the L-series, the dogleg is stronger than the straight pattern 5spd. Get that shit for yours. B) Quote Link to comment
