Unless I am mistaken, post #4922 is a PWS-26 Polish trainer. It looks like the invaders stripped the emblems off the wings to avoid friendly-fire raining down upon them. And post #4934 is a COLOR picture of a Ju 86. COLOR!!! I stumbled upon Ratsun about two years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. I love the rare planes that pop up on a routine basis, and I love the challenge of trying to figure out what they are.

As she survives today. Lucky this one was saved, the one the Navy had for trials ended up as land fill on the the side of a cliff! The remains are sadly still there, but she is too torn up to be saved.

I like that "Brummy Bar" [Grizzly bear] in the back  ground !  I have a 2 seater radar equipped night fighter model.

My earliest memory was seeing the Graf Zepplin banking left over me as I lay in a baby carriage on Brook Avenue and 138th street the Bronx.  I heard the thrum of engines and propellers looked up and saw the NAZI flag on the lower rear vertical stabilizer.  I was 5 or 6 months old at the time.  The Zepplin was on its way to Lakehurst NAS and detoured to give the passengers a view of the George Washington bridge, the Jersey palisades and the Manhattan West side as was the custom while Lakehurst rounded enough off duty sailors to grab the nose trailing cables and guide the ship to its mooring mast.
