The guy is refusing to return them even though he falsely advertised them so I'll see what happens.

Im kinda thinking they are for a alternate casting of the L series head, like the FI head... It has a single top mounting bolt instead of 2...  I havent seen a roadster intake like that...

So here's some pics of the aligned as best as possible. it's much much smaller. none of the ports match or are even near the same size.

Sorry, hard to get pics with one hand.

Also, picked up an l20 with a 5 speed. It ran well but I plan to change everything on it besides the inner works of the engine.

I need to get the drive shaft he gave me and get it shortened as well.

Really excited for how it's turning out. Getting paint this friday for the engine bay as well.

Yes I know there are other datsun engines just don't know much about them at all. I've never had to really deal with them so I never really read up on em or anything

Not an A-series. Carb spacing looks way too wide. Doesn't look like an R-16 intake either...

Note how my carbs on my A15 are about 1mm apart.

It's your car, just don't ruin it.

It's also not my money, so i'll suggest the most expensive option.

Well, early round port A12 intake:

LynxD12002676.jpg

So it may be for an early A-series... Those carbs looks impossibly tiny also, nothing like regular Mikuni PHH carbs...

Well either way, I just want what I was promised but looks like it's not happening. I'll just save up for now and buy mikuni's soon enough.

Either way, I'm excited.

Picked up dellorto carbs today.

Just need a mani and some stacks.

Also buying new parts all around for the engine.

It's suppose to have 54k original miles and came out off a show car that was frequently started.

I'm still undecisive if I should do the timing chain.

Going to rebuild and tune the carbs yourself?
