zrex
Would it cause any problems if I removed the suction pipe. The reason I'm asking is that I'm changing oil today and purchased a k&n filter instead of a stp filter that I usually use. The k@n will not spin on with the pipe attached. Any feedback would be much appreciated . Thanks rex Quote Link to comment
xsdg
Suggestion: get a filter that fits properly. If the K&N requires vehicle modification for it to work, then it's either poorly designed or is not the right part for the application. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Get a NAPA Gold series or WIX oil filter. K&N are over hyped, over priced fare. Quote Link to comment
zrex
Kept the pipe in the block. I guess I was transfixed on using the k@n filter and not using commen sence. Nissan designed that suction pipe for a reason and its been working for 29 years just find. Quote Link to comment
