taeng
Hi Ratsun Fam, I just bought some pro comp wheels for my 620. I know I need 60 degree taper lugs, however do I need hub centric rings? I want to make sure I don't run into any issues. The previous owner put some wheels on and I'm not sure what the reason was but the front wheel fell off and damaged the fender prior to my purchase. Here are the specs of the wheels I bought. I also searched first but couldn't find the answer. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Rings for what exactly? Quote Link to comment
taeng
Hub centric rings go on the hub to center the wheel. Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
I didn't put any on with my after markets. If you have the scorned lug nuts it makes the rim lug centric instead of hub centric. Most common issue I saw when buying after market was having to get the hub bored out on the rim to fit 4x4 hubs 1 Quote Link to comment
orangie
Hub centric wheels are centered to the inner hub while lug center use the lug nuts to center the wheel. I've only seen hub centric on newer cars. In the old days it was all lug centric. If you have a 620, the qualify for "old days". Quote Link to comment
