Spent the better part of an hour checking the lamps and wiring, then I saw the friggin loose wire hanging down where I had secured it. Total "DOH" moment. Quote Link to comment
abominable666 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2015 I got a lot done on my vacation! lots of buffing and painting wheels, simple shit that was bugging me like the e-brake not holding, dome light not working, throttle linkage not having full range of motion. Fast720 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Share Posted January 11, 2015 Hi I have been fallowing this truck resurrection , very cool , this is just a suggestion , if it were mine I would cut off the small flair on the back fenders and space the fender out so its in line with the front ones ,I take it they are fiberglass ,wouldn't be too big a deal to slice them and add 3 or 4 inches, it hard to understand maybe ,( it's like they added the little flair to make it the same width as the front ) I wish I could do photoshop. keep up the great work !!!!!!! Anyway one of my customers has a fibre glass bed with trans am flares he would sell ,have not seen it will try and go by his body shop and get pics .I know or it didn't happen , The bad is older guy and was not sure if Datsun mini truck , OT . I am still looking for my friends Marroon 620 hood with Led Zep. air brush job,( was in magazines ) I have heard is hanging on garage wall in La Mirada ,Ca. 2 Quote Link to comment

The dash pad was toast so I decided to pull it out and start the recon process Like the dog bro! My dogs look the same with the same color pattern. That was a scary drive :) First time the beds been cleaned out since I got the truck Got the upper and lower ball joints replaced, now its time to replace this mess of tie rods Trading my engine harness out of my parts truck for this re-upholstered bench seat I got a lot done on my vacation! lots of buffing and painting wheels, simple shit that was bugging me like the e-brake not holding, dome light not working, throttle linkage not having full range of motion.
