dgi
Any advice on changing/replacing the temperature sending unit on a '75 280Z? Mine has decided to fail. Worked one day, didn't the next. Just seeing it is difficult enough. How much disassembly is going to be necessary? Or is it as simple as lowering the coolant level below that point, unscrewing the sender, and putting in a new one? Is it likely to be seized in place? I have been through the diagnostic steps. The wiring and the temperature gauge on the dash check out OK. Quote Link to comment

dgi
Thanks Mike! Took a little while to get the parts and get back on the project. Got lucky! It wasn't seized and screwed right out cleanly. First thing on this car that hasn't fought me all the way. dgi Quote Link to comment
