In revolt of California sanctuary law, O.C. Sheriff's Department makes inmate release dates public

The Orange County Sheriff's Department on Monday made the release dates of jail inmates — including those in the country illegally — publicly available online, marking the latest local revolt against California's so-called sanctuary laws.

Undersheriff Don Barnes said the action is in response to the harms done to the community under Senate Bill 54, which became law on Jan 1. and restricts local law enforcement's cooperation with federal immigration authorities. Barnes and Sheriff Sandra Hutchens vocally fought against it.

"We have an obligation to safeguard our community, and we will use every tool available to help hold criminals accountable," Barnes said Monday. "Our inability to relinquish these individuals to the custody of (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) causes them to be returned to the communities which they prey upon."

"ICE is going out and actively looking for them," Barnes said. "It would be easier for everyone involved and safer for the community and law enforcement if they were relinquished to the custody of ICE rather than returned to the community."

Well there's criminals and then there's criminals. Put in jail for being in the country illegally or put in jail for criminal activity including robbery, assault, rape, and suspected in several shootings and deported multiple times. If your parents, cousin or brother were in the first category you probably won't support him but if you were beaten, robbed, shot or raped by the others you will. Unfortunately the baby will be thrown out with the bath water.

Illegal Immigrant School Secretary Indicted on Firearms Charges, Was Previously Arrested For School Threats

WICHITA, KAN. – A former Pratt school secretary was indicted Tuesday on federal firearms charges, U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister said.

Claudia Rodriguez-Oviedo, 33, a citizen of Mexico, was indicted on two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by an alien illegally in the United States. The indictment alleges that on Nov. 8, 2017, she possessed a Remington handgun and 35 rounds of ammunition.

Rodriguez-Oviedo currently is serving a 12-month sentence after she was previously convicted on charges of placing a fake bomb threat to a school, USD 382 in Pratt. She was employees at Southwest Elementary School at the time and reportedly said she made the bomb threat to “see what it felt like.”

If convicted, she faces a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each count. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) investigated.

Shocker. It appears the left and right are using the 1st 2nd and 4th Amendments like playing cards in a game of Texas Hold'm. Both too embroiled to realize it's actual a game of Monopoly and the real players are Media/Entertainment, NRA, IT/Personal Data Collection, and the Banker owns the whole damn game.

Media/Entertainment shows you what you want in your backpack,

The NEA tells you to be worried about what the other guy has in his backpack,

And IT/Personal Data Collection already knows what's in your backpack.

Sure, over simplified and sarcastic, but...
