No, no they don't. Seriously, it went to our Supreme Court.

From Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_v._District_of_Columbia

Warren v. District of Columbia%5B1%5D (444 A.2d. 1, D.C. Ct. of Ap. 1981) is an oft-quoted%5B2%5D District of Columbia Court of Appeals case that held that the police do not owe a specific duty to provide police services to citizens based on the public duty doctrine.

Cops don't have to do shit.

I did know of this case and it's implications.

Despite this used the phrase cause PD's like to put it on the side of their patrol cars.

Maybe someone needs to make a Supreme Court level case where said PD's are forced to remove that false advertising.

In reference to the "cops don't have to do shit"  in this case as Mike was talking about - a robbery in progress: yes they would be obliged to intervene as they do have a specific duty to prevent crime and apprehend criminals especially if not more so when a crime is being witnessed by them.

Go over to insomniacs and post a mildly political / topical picture, that were always acceptable until recently., and come back and ask me again.. Or better yet go over to NWdouchebags and see where HRCry-an-stuff is in his safe place and then we'll talk  ..

It had nothing to do with Hillary it was aimed at a couple of snowflakes and that's their safe word.

Well there should be safe rooms on every forum. You're in yours and... too funny.

Not true. They are obligated. Sworn to duty. The Supreme Court case only ruled that there was no LEGAL ramifications should they break their obligation. Societies slow slip into complete reliance in our nations laws as societal structure is devastating on a people. Congress is not responsible for delivering our obligations. That's fucking ridiculous. And the fact that the court even heard this case speaks volumes.

Creatures in human form walking around with no souls.

Surveillance footage captures last days of boy fed to pigs

In late 2015, police were called to a home in Kansas City, Kansas for a domestic dispute.

When police arrived, a woman who lived there told them if they looked around the property they’d find the remains of a child.

Officers found Conway’s 7-year-old grandson's remains in a livestock pen. He lived at the home with six siblings and his killers: his father and step-mother, Heather Jones. The children were isolated there under the guise of homeschooling.

The landlord had no idea she was about to log in and see gruesome evidence.

“As soon as I opened iCloud, I found pictures of Adrian’s abuse,” Hoevers said.

She took the evidence to police and then to Adrian's grandmother. She’s now sharing it with the 41 Action News Investigators.

The images live in Hoevers's memory and in a file on her desktop. It’s labeled “House of Horror.”

The click of a mouse shows a household under constant surveillance. Cameras in every room. Michael and Heather monitored Adrian’s every move. The couple even took photographs of Adrian’s deteriorating health, documenting it as if they were proud of the torture they inflicted upon him.

What should have been a safe place for Adrian, his home, became a prison.
