If shit hits the fan and LA gets hit with a nuke who's gonna give a shit about people living in paradise? Hell, the port on Maui get's knocked out and the island is gonna be full on cannibalism within two weeks. Didn't help that all Maui's power was diesel generator for a loooong time.
