.... and even more hard workers out of a job.

They could be the Jesus Christ of hard work, but if they aren't legal to be here... They can apply legally and wait their turn. We don't get to choose which laws to follow, unless you are HRC.

What happens if I try to work in Canada. I'd get kicked right the fuck out.

^^^^^^^ Correct.

As a younger RW I worked for a Federal agency in Straya that amongst other things had the responsibility for the detention of, and deportation of what were then known as Illegal Non Citizens (Foreign Nationals who had illegally entered the country, visa overstayers etc).

The resourcing (number of bodies) required to coordinate deportation is staggering!

Throw into the mix all the logistical considerations and legal avenues deportees have at their disposal (Immigration lawyers, appeals tribunals, advocacy groups, human rights lawyers), third countries willingness to take back their citizens, etc etc etc etc, and its just staggering to think anyone could even in their wildest dreams think the deportation of millions of illegal immigrants is feasable.

Ain’t gonna happen!

Well it's not going to happen, in a year.. or two years, or maybe even 5 years.

But what happens when you mandate e-verify, and other mechanisms. Make government assistance for legal residence only. Make it nearly impossible for people to find work. Make under the tables jobs difficult to find...?

People will migrate.. (to Canada.. lulz)

Of course but do you even realize the gargantuan and economic effort it would take to deport 11 million illegals. If and if it did happen, who will do the hard work that most young muricanz will not do, the fields, restaurants, nannies, cleaning, car washes, auto body shops, etc, etc. Who will do these? And the reality is that businesses and politicians know this. In reality, there is a symbiotic relationship and been like this for a looking time.

Wether ethnic or religious discrimination, immigrants legal or not have been used as political scapegoats since this country began. Right now our economy is booming, African American unemployment is lower than it's been in our history AND we have 11 million plus undocumented, illegal, noncitizen, alien, what ever the fuck you want to label them in our economy. Like thousands of politicians in the passed, Trump played you.

With respect to e-verify and other mechanisms, there are mandatory laws in place that are not enforced. The real question is why aren't they enforced. Or better yet, why hasn't anything been changed corrected, or reformed in over 50 years.

How would the Government make under the tables jobs difficult or nearly impossible to find type of work? I've never seen a want add for a job like that.

DACA and the build the wall myth are utterly meaningless peanuts being thrown out into the angry audience. Compared to immigration reform and mass deportation, this distraction is a piece of wax falling on a termite who's choking on the splinters (Beck Reference).

...good luck with under the table difficult to find, this is always going to happen. Just as dead beat dads find ways to make a leaving under the table, illegals will a way. When you say govt assistance, which one?

Talk about a meme about face. All it took was one critical post and FLIP

For those who read...

Watching the dark prince Sloppy Steve get kicked under the bus is a satisfying bit of poetic justice and a gift that will keep on giving. Bannon seemed to manage keeping himself distanced from the Russia prob, but fucked himself telling Wolf the Trump Tower meeting between the three stooges Trump Jr., Manafort, and Kushner with Putin’s operatives was “treasonous.”. Now he’s under the public magnifying glass, lost his job at Brietbart, up to his neck is legal shit, back peddling like a circus clown, and lawyering up in typical shister fashion.

Steve Bannon plans to “fully cooperate” with the Russian investigation (what ever that means) but hired Bill Burck, of the firm Quinn Emanuel to represent him. Funny thing is, Burck also represents White House Counsel Don McGahn, and former Chief of Staff Reince in the Russia probe.  The fact that these key players in the Trump administration have the same lawyer sure makes it easy to manage their story.

There’s all kinds of squirming going on behind the scenes and I seriously doubt any of these guys who were thrown under the bus by Trump will fall on their swards to defend him. People like Bannon cover their own ass, not others. Mueller is beating the WH like a piñta and there’s no way Trump’s keeping all the candy inside.
