BUT....when my child is diagnosed with that I see it in a different light (taken much more seriously...) Id be st least pissed of someone made fun of them directly. My nephew and a family member are on the spectrum of autism.

ICE is expected to get well over 8 billion in the 2019 budget. That's roughly what the whole FBI budget is. Do you feel Immigrants cost is that much, or even close to it?

As a younger RW I worked for a Federal agency in Straya that amongst other things had the responsibility for the detention of, and deportation of what were then known as Illegal Non Citizens (Foreign Nationals who had illegally entered the country, visa overstayers etc).

 

The resourcing (number of bodies) required to coordinate deportation is staggering!

 

Throw into the mix all the logistical considerations and legal avenues deportees have at their disposal (Immigration lawyers, appeals tribunals, advocacy groups, human rights lawyers), third countries willingness to take back their citizens, etc etc etc etc, and its just staggering to think anyone could even in their wildest dreams think the deportation of millions of illegal immigrants is feasable.
