paradime
I'm not going to say I'm not a moron, but even so if a felon threatens you multiple times and you can tell they're fuckin nuts call the cops, they might actually do something about it, isnt that what the Democrats say we should do? Or you take your neighbor for a ride out to the hills/desert whatever and he gets lost. Oh come on now Q, you're smarter than most of us morons. I guess you could say this was another nut that fell through the cracks of our legal system. I don't know if there's no enforcement of the laws intended to keep maniacs like this from getting guns, or if it's family and neighbors enabling them. It will be interesting to hear what the local cops knew about this mad dog. Link to comment
VFR800
Did I miss something here. FELON.... GUNS. Pretty sure a felon isn't allowed to have guns so that alone would be enough reason to drop a dime. Police might have to shoot him when they go over to arrest him... problem solved. That's the great thing about laws - some people obey them, some do not. 2 Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
Taxpayer piggy bank lets Congress settle sexual harassment cases in secret A little-known law has been on the books for more than a decade that gives anyone accusing a federal lawmaker of sexual harassment the right to sue – but only if they consent to a lengthy drawn-out process that includes a written statement within 180 days of the incident, 30 days of counseling and another month or so of mediation. During that time, the claimant’s employer will be notified. The lawmaker’s identity, however, will remain confidential even if he or she is found guilty. Should there be a settlement – and there have been many – it’s the American taxpayer that’s on the hook, with “no public disclosure and no consequences for the harasser,” said California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier. “The so-called process was clearly drafted to protect the institution rather than the most vulnerable,” Speier told Fox News in a statement. “Survivors have to sign a never-ending nondisclosure agreement just to start the complaint process, which is unheard of in the private sector, then continue to work in their office alongside their harasser.” The money comes from a special U.S. Treasury fund – and the payouts are kept quiet. That means, those found to be at fault are publicly shielded and don’t have to pay a penny out of pocket for settlement costs. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/10/taxpayer-piggy-bank-lets-congress-settle-sexual-harassment-cases-in-secret.html Link to comment

The thing that gets me is the neighbor saying all this illegal things that the guy did and at the the saying "someone should have done something to prevent this". Yeah fucker, you could have. If there was a complaint about shooting wouldn't the police know he was a felon and have looked into this? Link to comment
a.d._510_n_ok
I wonder who thought it would be a good idea to hook up Moore's accuser with raisin minge Allred after last years debacle? Having her as one's lawyer seems to confirm it's a scam. 2 Link to comment

Why should he step aside if he didn't do it? You think every time someone is accused they should step down no matter the evidence? That just makes it an even better tool for attacking political opponents. You know why you don't negotiate with terrorists? Because it makes that a legitamate and useful tactic to get what you want. Same principle. 1 Link to comment

datzenmike
That's really old news, and has been discussed here many times. I've always maintained watching up to 10 minutes of (what passes for) 'news' a day. (I get more here than that) So what's the cure for keeping weapons out of the wrong hands? because it doesn't work. If it did there would be less heat for more/new gun control laws. I get that you want a gun. I get that you think the only way to protect that right is to allow the bad with the good. So again how do you protect that right and at the same time protect people from people that shouldn't have them? Cuz it seems like going nothing. Dguy210... I agree and have said the same thing but.... At some point the preponderance of accusers outweighs this. (I don't know what that limit is, it's different for everyone) Take Bill Cosby for instance I have no doubt he's a douchebag. 59 accusers of whom some may be untrue but likely outweighed by those that didn't come forth. How do you explain this many? Link to comment

q-tip
We don't need more gun control we need to uphold the laws that already exist. Joe fucking Biden said in an interview "we need more gun control laws because we don't have the resources to enforce the ones we already have.". What in the actual fuck will making more laws that law enforcement cannot enforce is just a redundant cycle of stupidity. 4 Link to comment
Draker
The stepson of the latest Moore accuser came out yesterday and said she is a complete liar. As in, the son of the man she is currently married to. He also stated they voted for him previously. Again, I don't think he should step aside without the truth being told. It's an ALABAMA election.. let the people of ALABAMA decide. If it goes to court, and he's guilty.. put him in prison for the rest of his life for all I care. Why would you interrupt the democratic process for this? IT'S WHAT IS THERE FOR. Anyone weighing in otherwise has political motives and should be ignored. Other than the accusers, they could be telling the truth.. but the timing is curious. The only people that get to decide are the 5 million folks that actually reside in Alabama. Everyone else can fuck off. 2 Link to comment
