T2 IS a serious contender though. Great movie.

 

Best movie ever, or best psi-fi adventure movie?

 

What about The Matrix, Star Wars, Blade runner, Lord of The Ring, Alien, Mad Max Fury Road, Wings of Desire, or the most influential psi-fi movie never made Jodorowsky's Dune. This version was never make but the documentary of it's development is 100% mind blowing. Looking at the list of people who signed on to do it makes me drool. Pink Floyd and Magma for the music; artists H. R. Giger, Chris Foss and Jean Giraud for set and character design; Dan O'Bannon (Dark Star, Star Wars, Alien, Heavy Metal, The Resurrected) for special effects; and Marlin Brando, Salvador Dalí, Orson Welles, Gloria Swanson, David Carradine, Mick Jagger, Udo Kier, Amanda Lear and others for the cast. The script was the size of a World Atlas and had 14 hours of material. It changed the psi-fi world and was never even made.

The Matrix was ok not so much what followed. Star wars was ok but what has followed was just a marketing strategy for action figures. A cash cow for the owners Fuck Star Wars. Blade runner was very good haven't seen the remake. Alien was.. in fucking tense. Actually difficult to watch with no comic relief. Fury road was .... ok. Mad Max was tooooo long and dull.

So, one short of a 'Mass Shooting' then, not a terrorist gunman just a normal everyday whack job gunman.

 

Another American who should have never had a gun in the first place.

 

"The crazy thing is that the neighbor has been shooting a lot of bullets lately, hundreds of rounds, large magazines," he said. "This guy has been crazy, and he's been threatening us and everything. I just feel like there maybe should have been more effort put into stopping things like this."

Probably had them illegally anyway.

 

And whoever that quote is from is a god damn moron, if someone threatens you with a firearm it's a damn felony and they get arrested. Is that quote is factual then that person could have prevented this by calling the police when they were threatened.

Senate Republicans including repeal of Obamacare Individual mandate in Senate's tax bill. 

 

The tax reform bill was not gaining enough traction to clear the Senate, so is this going for broke to get Rand Paul and Tom Cotton on board, adding an additional bargaining chip, or creating a "blame it on liberals" out for failure? Maybe all of the above. 

 

The shooter was a felon, (allegedly) so why wasn't he arrested for firing or having a weapon in the first place. Morons... oh wait.... California.

 

Oh wait.... US.

The quote was from the shooter's neighbor who's room mate was killed in the rampage, and does not say anything about being threatened with a firearm. SO who's a god damn moron?

I'm not going to say I'm not a moron, but even so if a felon threatens you multiple times and you can tell they're fuckin nuts call the cops, they might actually do something about it, isnt that what the Democrats say we should do? Or you take your neighbor for a ride out to the hills/desert whatever and he gets lost.

Did I miss something here. FELON.... GUNS.  Pretty sure a felon isn't allowed to have guns so that alone would be enough reason to drop a dime. Police might have to shoot him when they go over to arrest him... problem solved.
