Happy Thanksgiving. Got the bird in the oven, yams, potatoes, Brussels sprouts beets and carrots with stuffing and cranberries, pie and ice cream. Just me and my wife now, but in the past our three kids would invite friends from school who didn't have much of a home life and we knew a couple who couldn't afford it so we put three extra boards in the table to make room for 15. Dogs laid under the table and the windows were steamy. Good, good times.

This Map Shows San Francisco Is Covered in Human Poop

Fecal matter is elusive, and doesn’t necessarily register until it’s crusted on the bottom of your shoe. But there might be a dark cloud of poo hovering above your city, as evidenced by this stinky, stinky map.

Citing human waste reports made in San Francisco, software engineer Jenn Wong mapped the city’s most poop-ridden neighborhoods, and it is a feast for watery eyes. Her project, called Human Wasteland, is pretty exhaustive, listing reports made by individual 311 calls from 2008-2015. If there was a frantic call made to city authorities about a steaming pile over that seven-year period, it’s listed in Wong’s map in the form of that ubiquitous poop emoji.

Great job moonbeam...

It is no longer a felony to knowingly transmit HIV in California: Governor signs bill to view the now-treatable virus like all other STDs
  • Anyone convicted of knowingly infecting a partner with HIV in California can face up to six months in prison, instead of 8 years
  • The bill's supporters say it will help to destigmatize HIV and encourage people to get tested and take preventative action
  •  Opponents express concern that the relaxed law will not hold HIV-positive people responsible for the disease's spread
  • The legislative change comes as HIV transmission rates drop, and studies find negligible transmission rates among properly medicated people living with HIV

The stupid state, how is it not a crime to knowingly transmit a deadly desease?, For some people the treatment doesn't work, I thought the left cared about the 1%.....

                          What difference does that make?

Other than it's one or the worst insults you can 'throw' at someone elsewhere in the world. It points to the incident with Geo. Bush. I hope it starts a trend.

Politicians in Argentina get flip-flops tossed at them all the time, doesn't change shit.

Probably means something less thnt what we are discussing.

In our culture a shoe is just an object and is less rude than throwing a rotten tomato to show displeasure. In Islamic countries it's a grave insult. A shoe bottom is considered very 'unclean' and is never worn inside a home or Mosque. Here it would be like throwing feces at someone. Symbolically throwing something 'unclean' at the Tic????..... priceless.
