If I give my house to a poverty level family, (of any color) how will they have the means to pay the taxes, insurance, and upkeep on it?

Easy!  They'll just let it degrade into another slum property!  And will be do be assumed by another heartless intnernionlatily funded heartless bank owned fund !  Not an grump, just a realist!

I have a conceal permit even though I live in a open carry state. I have only carried it concealed once a while back in New Orleans just because of all the crime. ( mostly late at night ) I have to say it felt strange to be carrying but I have no plan to be mugged by a thug.

Trump is an imbecile but awesome for small business.

If there was ever any time for starting a small business, it is now.

I (and many of my friends) are feeling the Trump effect.

Maybe you can too!

brother, I hope you make a mint and I mean that! I also hope the economy gets good enough to show the folks who don't remember the 1990s what a robust job market looks like! It's so fashionable to rag on millennials for not working or owning cars or not buying homes but goddamn this economy has sucked for most of their adult lives!!! God, I miss that 90s job market!!!

I don't think Trumpcheeto is an imbecile. He falls under the megalomaniac category, self serving, righteous and only his way.

This reminds me about an article I read about fighter pilots from WW I all the way to Vietnam.

It turns out that most of those guys that became aces and pioneers of flight would have not survived or gotten that far in this Politically Correct world of today. And if there was on thing that Obama proved true, it was that he had no real fucking spine. He did not posses such an edge. He lacked True Grit.

Trump is all that you say, and maybe more, but so where those fighter pilots that had the Right Stuff and went on to blaze history.

Call him what you will, and Trumpcheeto sounds pretty fucking lame, but the guy has the balls to say it and do it.

He has grit. Far grittier than any president I've lived through. And he certainly shows every ounce of balls he can muster. But dawning ones courage, is not the same as possessing courage. I think the voting base he appealed to really wanted a president who was a corageous balls out warrior. And there was a salesman ready to sell just that. But the rest of the country sees Donald Trump for who he was in the 80's, 90's, 2000's. And so far, he has managed to keep his base sold, without delivering. It's early yet right? Trust me, it won't get easier for him. He won't be given a chance. He will be ridiculed through war, success, and failure. And in the end he will be the hero who did nothing, but never had a chance. Congress will be blamed.

*for KO: he stopped TPP....

Sacramento plans to pay gang members $1.5M to keep the peace

Following a fatal shooting last weekend in a city park, the Sacramento city council unanimously approved a controversial program called Advance Peace in an effort to address a recent spike in violence.

The program offers gang members cash stipends for graduating from school and generally staying out of trouble.

Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg requested that the vote be moved up in response to the park shooting, which left one person dead and four injured, Fox 40 reported. The vote was supposed to take place in two weeks.

"Let's get going on doing everything we can to save innocent lives," Steinberg told Fox 40.

The $1.5 million in cash stipends to gang members will come from the city’s general fund. A similar program is being used in Richmond, Calif., and Stockton is considering it.

I think his base is actually growing. Muh Russians, antifa and the yanking down of statues have not endured the swing voters to the left + much of that BS took place in blue states that Trump picked up last time. How many libs from nearly bankrupt states have pledged millions to keep their illegals safe from the federal bogeyman while being indifferent to the overtaxation and wage stagnation of their legal constituents? How does embracing illegals mean more votes for tax and spend dems? Trump's appeal is that the political class hate him. The politicians squealing in pain against Trump somehow hope to rally the support of the voters for whom their inability to hide their contempt disappeared years ago....? No, Trump's agenda is getting advanced and the dems are coming around.

Washington Post: Democrats target Trump on trade

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Democrats facing reelection next year in states President Trump won are seizing on trade at this early stage as a crucial issue and a Republican vulnerability.

But rather than jeer Trump’s protectionist positions, Democrats are echoing them and amplifying them, arguing that Trump has failed to fulfill his dramatic campaign promise to rip apart trade deals.

“When we say renegotiating NAFTA, we mean a transformation, something substantial, not just going through the motions,” Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. (D-Pa.) told union leaders recently, referring to the administration’s talks over the North American Free Trade Agreement.

For Democrats, Casey’s pitch signals a wholehearted revival of their labor roots and a sharp departure from the free-trade tilt of the past two Democratic presidents, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

The change may also be necessary. While progressive activists are highly motivated against Trump and some suburban voters are increasingly uneasy about Trump’s disposition, many working-class voters remain resentful of globalization and have lingering appreciation for Trump’s populist appeals.

Salon: Time to give up on identity politics: It’s dragging the progressive agenda down

Identity politics has only served to disempower the left and fuel the rise of white nationalism. Can we move on?
