It really don't matter if they miss. The scenario could be they launch and trajectory is towards Hawaii, Guam, Japan, or the USA, we will have no choice but the retaliate, then its over for all. Even if they miss Guam by 50 miles, what about the tsunami that it can cost and the fall out.

Just read an article that hawaii is preparing for a nuclear missile attack. It will take about 20 min. from dprk to the islands but about 5 min. For pacific command to determine is hostile. So the Hawaiians will have 15 min. To react.

Those fuckers couldn't hit he broad side of a fucking barn, much less an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!  But, you can go hide. Go on, hide.

K4JeCpV.gif

I hear a lot but I don't see any factual proof about how far a range these missiles have. How has it been figured out they can get to Chicago???? What's the farthest Kim has got to date.... a few hundred miles into the sea of Japan???

There were dozens if not hundreds of nuclear tests in the Pacific in the 50s. No tsunamis were caused. A miss is as good as a mile. Best action if this happens is nothing nuclear. The world would be outraged and condemnation swift. Let China, Russia, SK and Japan invade to protect themselves. The US could send in four or five hundred tomahawks to clean the place up.

What was that shit I saw on TV about the B-1 bomber waltzing in and preemptively taking out the missile sites. Meant for south Korean consumption. What crap! Before the job could be 10% finished they would know it's coming. The best way is a flurry of tomahawks that all arrive on target at the same time. Cyber attack, communications, power and infrastructure.

This is a case in Canada. It gives a view of the "western" Judicial system. Watch the video, the last part is the telling part. The prosecutors had unlimited time and resources to go after the 3 guys. It is also telling in that no search for evidence it was inconsistency in her story. One other point the Judge a woman was disappointed in not being able to sentence the 3 cops.

Mueller, The crime is not falling into line with the liberal leftist agenda. Guilty until proven innocent. My final though on all of this is,....this is how freedom/liberty comes to and end in the court room because you did not follow the agenda.

Remember Kenneth Star? I believe he was investigating a real estate deal. Ended up with the president being impeached for purgery when he wouldn't admit to diddling an intern.

Said president got to finish his term, but shit's gotten increasingly adversarial ever since.

Call it a gang vendetta. Whatever, I hate partisan politics. Red vs blue is a silly show about Halo. Not a way to run a country.

In my own personal, non sourced opinion, Trump probably got duped by the Russians in a plan to undermine our confidence in the election process.

They picked him because they guessed he'd play into it more than anyone else.

Funny things is, young South Koreans hated the USA when I was there in '91 + many years after the news reported protests by them against the US military presence. Lots of them preferred reunification with NORKs over us keeping their country safe from godless communism. Glass 'em all and be done with 'em. Hyundais suck, we got the recipe for kimchi and surely the USA as a nation can figure out how to dehydrate squid and pack it for snacking.

Only a few hundred miles out into the sea... but thousands straight up in the air. 1741 miles to be exact. Change the trajectory and it's a different story. Who knows how accurate it is still.

Problem is Seoul is so close to NK. Minutes away.. and it's a city the size of new york. If it wasnt that close, we would have made it rain fire already.

This guy spins an over simplification of what Damore's memo said and what that meant in a place like google. The inherent ignorance in suggesting that women, or men, feel or act a certain way sailed clear over this kids head.

As you can imagine, this story is getting big coverage in the local bay area news and yes, it comes in a very liberal bias perspective. I know this is going to come off as academic elitism, but even pretentious ass hole should be able to share their opinion.

Part of the capital of a tech company like Google is it's culture and how that supports a safe open and creative work environment. That's how they attract and retain the best and brightest minds. Trust me, multi billion dolor tech companies take this shit VERY seriously. So how do they support free thinking and still promote diversity and equality? I'll be honest I agree with most of what Damore said about the PC google box. Right up until he makes definitive statements that women are more “neurotic” and have a lower “stress tolerance” than men. and that men have a “higher drive for status" as though it were fact. I know many male computer scientists and they are some of the most neurotic stressed out people on the planet. I did a scientific journal search and couldn't find a single sociology, business management, or psychology study published after 1955 that even vaguely support Damore's claims about women. In fact in a military study it showed virtually no difference in women's ability to perform in technical or combat rolls compared to men. In a HYPER PC environment like Google those statements are seen as hostile because it implies the women who work there are not fit for their job.

He also dismisses the concept of unconscious bias as being of no value when considering issues of diversity. As a psychologist (crackpot that I am) I take this as clear evidence of his profound ignorance of non-cognitive internal processes involving the Amygdala and Frontal Cortex. Neuropsychology using FMRI can actually see the brain activity involved in unconscious bias. If I were to reduce Damore to a stereotype I'd say he has serious mommy issues, but that would be exposing my bias as a psychologist, so I'll just say it was a poor judgement.

The guy holds a doctorate in systems biology so it's no surprise his argument is based on biological determinism aka eugenics. Basically it's the belief that a person's intellectual ability to perform a task is predetermined by biological factors alone. Kind of like viewing the brain as a nonadaptive static structure. As science goes this concept is about 70 years out of date, were today there is broad agreement on a phenomenological bio-psych-social model of human psychology, emotional resilience, adaptation, and cognitive potential.

Years ago our neighbor became a cop in Toronto. He and his partner 'allegedly' had sex with a hooker in their squad car who brought or tried to bring charges. My mom saved all the newspaper clippings as it slid from front to page 10. Eventually the girl hanged herself and that was the end of it. That's a stink that never goes away. Both were later fired from the force. Last I talked with him he was divorced and a truck driver.

You know anecdotes aren't data, otherwise I could give many incidents in which women are way more neurotic and have a lower stess tolerance then men, and this is a "common thought" in society. I will concede that I do not know if there are any published studies supporting this though and I didn't have the time this morning to beat-up pubmed looking for one.

"Neuropsychology using FMRI can actually see the brain activity involved in unconscious bias."

This is a very weak statement, and FMRI has several issues especially if you go statistical relevance fishing.

Are you making a diagnosis on a person without every meeting them, isn't that a big no-no?

In kind with yours, my logical fallacy of "appealing to authority" is that I am a biologist with a doctorate.

So my my take on this after reading the original file with sources? I agree with quite a bit of it. However, I will make a simple statement, instead of diversity and inclusiveness how about just FUCKING HIRING THE MOST QUALIFIED PERSON for the job. You know why applications are not done blinded with respect to gender, name, race, etc??? Is because you end up with pretty much all men (I can dig up a source for this study later) which does not fit the "diversity" requirements companies want.

This guy has to know he would lose his job by writing this document, he must know what the company environment is like at Google and how this would go over like a fart in an elevator.

Oversimplify,...in an entertaining internet youtube video way, think the kid nailed it.

I really do not have much more to add then what Dguy210 already stated, long gone are the days when the qualified person did the job.

With all the people on her list, it's inevitable. It's already went down without her being president.
