The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group. The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans. “We will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag and push those people out as we will not give one inch to groups who espouse hatred toward lgbt, immigrants, people of color or others. In case the message was not clear to you this is a sanctuary city and state and we will not allow these people to spread their views in East Portland. You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely.” The Oregon Republican Party released this statement after the festival was cancelled. "The organizers of the annual Avenue of Roses Parade have received an e-mail threat from “thegiver@riseup.net” warning that unless the parade organizers revoke the registration of the Multnomah County Republican Party in this year’s parade (set for this Saturday, April 29th), the group will send “two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag and push those people out”. For every migrant detained or deported, 1/10th or so Citizens lose a supervisory position. Also, as companies fold due to business model collapse, we will see many Americans applying for unemployment. Or they could take a lower paying job as a picker and collect under-employment. Either way, not really creating jobs at all. Us companies will automate before paying for legal workers. More like the jobs vacated by deporting illegal aliens are jobs Americans don't want. Agricultural work, yard maintenance, drywall hanging, house painting, hotel cleaning crews, fast food work (it looks like the Mexicans have taken over Jack In the Box). All the crap jobs that pay shit and are hard work. Stuff the lazy and entitled American worker doesn't want to do. If they get super mayorities in Senate and Congress like they have in Cali, it will happen, case in point is California, for democracy to work properly it is vital that there are checks and balances.
