paradime
I can comment on that 45 dollar asa. It goes into the pay structure. House keeping, laundry, and the like. Also goes into missing items. Things nurses use but forget to charge to the right person. You mean paying $4,500 for an emergency visit for dehydration doesn't cover the laundry bill? Three hours wait to see a Dr. and one I.V. bag of saline? This sounds like socialism where people are forced to accept incompetence, except we're paying threw the nose for this shit. If this is true than it's an inditement of a corrupt capitalism system. 1 Link to comment

Hello sanctuary state California. You are paying for it up front and through the wazoo. 1 Link to comment

125 CSL
http://www.nationaleconomicseditorial.com/2017/02/21/costs-illegal-immigration-california/ Illegal Immigration Costs California $30.3 Billion A Year Healthcare For Illegal Immigrants: $4.02 Billion Providing healthcare for illegal immigrants in California imposes significant costs, while also increasing wait-times and decreasing the overall quality of care (by lowering the physician-to-patient ratio). Illegal immigrants withdraw roughly $2.28 billion from Medicaid in California, and cost roughly $1.3 billion in emergency services (they are treated, but do not pay). Together, these hard costs equate to $4.02 billion per year. However, these numbers don’t necessarily reflect the true costs of illegal aliens on the healthcare system, because they don’t quantify opportunity costs (we could be investing in better technology, or more doctors, rather than treating illegal immigrants) or damage caused by the burdened system (pain and suffering caused by long wait times, lost productivity etc.). You have a good paying job, Your part is only going to go up. 2 Link to comment
125 CSL
this video is from 2005, before Cali became the sanctuary it is now. an article from 2007 stated the cost of an illegal immigrant birth was just north of 10,000. Could not find a newer price, but I am sure it is more. Still batter off then Arizona. https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/immigration/item/2070-illegal-immigrants-overrun-arizonas-emergency-rooms 1 Link to comment

I believe it would just be called common sense. If the person coming in for treatment is not paying for the: Doctors time, nurses time, intake peoples time, bed sheets/cleaning people, mediation, and everything else that comes with a hospital visit, where do you think the moneys coming from? Nothing listed above is free. Im not a political person, but holy shit, that type of dumb ass thinking is why we're fucked in the first place. / 3 Link to comment

The ruling class lives very well on the backs of the people. Proof that no form of governance will make everyone happy. Especially the middle and lower classes. But I bet the ultra rich are rarely happy either. They can't be happy until they have all the wealth, but their logic is flawed. When they have all the wealth the poor can no longer afford to exist and serve them. 1 Link to comment
