MikeRL411
https://news.grabien.com/story-nunes-fbi-not-cooperating-our-investigation-trump-camp-surve "The FBI is not cooperating with the House of Representatives' investigation into the NSA's surveillance of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election" The comment section on the article is interesting to see what others are thinking. From yesterday the second interview with the media----looking like a lot of the FBI attempting now to cover their ass, going to be hard to do with all the information given to so many agencies. 0bama I am sure did not intend it to go down this way, but it looks like his opening up of all this information in an attempt to take down Trump is going to backfire on him. President Harry Truman made it very clear when he chartered the CIA and NSA ! Intelligence operations outside the USA was the purview of the CIA. Code breaking and development plus communications and electronic surveilence outside the USA was the purview of the NSA. Any surveiience or active operations within USA and its territories was the purview of the FBI. 2 Link to comment

datzenmike
This falls under a very huge WTF. Looks like England will need its own 9/11 before it wakes up. You do know that was the Canadian House of Commons, right? and not anything to do with England. Link to comment

Draker
So the health care vote was pushed back until tomorrow. Sounds like lots of Republicans planning on voting no. I don't know shit about the bill. Rand doesn't like it.. and Ryan was championing it.. so I'm inclined to think it's a shit type bill. Obamacare 2.0 as some would characterize it. Anyone got a good summary? 1 Link to comment
tr8er
Yeah. I'll summarize. They hate The ACA and want it gone They realize that the alternative will fuck the GOP in the face. They need to put a bit of time into this effort and weight the fallout before they act. Example: one who hates their job and quits is going to lose. One who hates their job and shops for a better job will win. Smart reps know this and won't act just because Trump said he will. Part of me want this bill to pass just to further the shit show going on right now in the White House, but I'd actually rather something good come of it. It won't, but I'll hope anyway. Single payer makes the most sense. Being told its dumb is not a good reason to reject it either. Look into the idea. Link to comment

VFR800
The trumpet needs to act quick, this whole spygate deal on US citizens done UNCONSTITUTIONALLY dating back decades and further exploited by the "transparency" administration AKA Obama, is his one clear chance to "drain the fucking swamp", get it done already, fire everyone involved and start prosecution on EVERYONE involved in this scandal, this is bigger than the Nixon scandal, let's go!!!!! If he does not do so if he has the ability to do so.then one would have to ask the mega obvious question - WHY did he not do it? Who is he beholden to or afraid of? Will be interesting to see if he does do so. 1 Link to comment

Not that I don't trust your summary, cause you could be right on the money, just looking for something official. They had 8 years to come up with something. Ryan appears to be the wrong person to lead this. Maybe trump knows that. Rand and trump have been in communication the couple weeks regarding this. I'm assuming rands individual vote will be very telling. 2 Link to comment

I don't like the media or the politicians, they're all there for a show that is low quality bullshit being touted as Premium goods. 1 Link to comment

They get lobbied, test ideas in comitee, task interns, etc. extremely rare that a plan/bill originates from a rep. Perhaps for the best. But the 8 years thing... They'd start around now. When it's written, it will be the pen of the insurance companies. And that bill I will spit on. Link to comment

Anyone got a good summary? Why in the heck did the gop write a complex bill to start with? Only needed a few basic things to work. Insurance across state lines. Health care savings accounts with an incentive for mid-middle class and lower. Incentives to start health care co-ops. Block grants to the states for medicare for existing conditions. I would also change the 0bama era fines going to community groups instead going to charity medical systems. 1 Link to comment
