m@dsr510 Posted August 4, 2014 Report Share Posted August 4, 2014 Just wanted to take a little time and introduce myself here on this forum.... Name is Ray and I own a 2-door 1970 Datsun 510. Been looking into purchasing one of these bad boys since about 2012, but something always came up. Well, in February of this year, I happen to come across a 510 from Arizona that an older gentleman had laying around in his barn. To make a long story short, contacted the guy, made him an offer, hooked my trailer and headed out to Phoenix,AZ to pick up my new ride. Been frequenting this forum for about a year and finally decided to create an account and let you guys know where I am at and what my plans are for the datto. Wire harness from Wiring specialists.....rear coilovers from Ground Control....Rota Concave Grids 15x8's wrapped with Nitto NT05....intercooler piping....autometer gauges.......Megasquirt PNP2 stand alone engine management system...... banzai510(hainz) Posted July 9, 2015 Report Share Posted July 9, 2015 depending on your brake/ strut set up will determine the wheel offset then maybe fenders will need to be pulled. I have stock stocks so I went with a +25mm offset(15x7) to tuck it up under. alot of people do +15 or zero with the 280zx struts Quote Link to comment
