LED SPEEDOMETER LIGHTS

OK SO IVE SEEN THIS LIGHTS ON A VIDEO AND ANOTHER POSTING 

AND I WANTED THEM BAD SO AFTER LOOKING THEM UP I DIDNT REALLY SEE

NOTHING POSTED FOR A 620 SO I HOPE I CAN HELP THE NEXT PERSON UNLESS

SOMEONE ALREDY DID A POSTING AND I DIDNT SEE IT LOL

SO I GOT THE LIGHT BULBS FROM SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM AND THE ONES I USED 

FOR THE SPEEDOMETER ARE THIS

THE COLOR IS UP TO YOU WHAT COLOR TO USE U NEED 3 FOR THE SPEEDOMETER 

FOR THE OIL EMERGENCY BRAKE AND IGNITION YOU CAN USE THE SAME BUT YOU REALLY DONT HAVE TOO

IF YOU HAVE A TACHOMETER YOU WILL NEED DIFFERENT LIGHT BULBS

THATS THE LIGHT BULB I USED FOR MY TACHOMETER IS THE 

BA9S LED BULB-9 LED TOWER 

PART NUMBER-BA9S-GHP9

WHAT COLOR YOU USE IS UP TO YOU I HOPE THIS MAKES IT EASIER FOR YOU GUYS CAUSE I END UP BUYING MORE 

LIGHT BULBS THEN I NEED IT BUT IS OK LOL :)

So, anyway, I ordered four of these lamps from superbrightleds.com

They were 6.95 each, and shipping was 2.99.  I also ordered four lampholders, but they were too small to work in a 521 combo meter.

 

Before my meter looked like this at night.

After swapping the four illumination lamps, it looks like this.

I did not remove the bulb filters, but I recently changed the meter because the speedometer was squeaking.  I did clean the contact patches for the lamp holder, before I put the combo meter in the truck. 

I was able to just reach up behind the dash, and change the lampholders.  I did not need to remove the dash.  but you probably will have to, to clean the contact for the lampholders in the circuit board.
