Geo Teodoro 1981 210
My 1981 210 runs great but when I slow down and hit the breaks it stealers to die. I don't have the hose or valve going to the break booster from the engine. You guys think that's the problem? And who knows where I could find a new valve Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Not having the brake booster hooked up isn't going to cause it to not run or idle when stopping. But it will increase the effort to use the brakes. The Datsun hose and one way valve is fairly universal so pull one off another car or truck and fit it back on. Have to assume the manifold fitting is properly plugged at the moment??? so there is no vacuum leak. Why is the hose off or missing? Quote Link to comment
Geo Teodoro 1981 210
I just rescued it from someone who had it just sitting outside there house. When they put a new carburetor In they took it off, I didn't get it with the car. And I'm not sure where it would go back into the engine. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Our A series engine guru seems to be away at the moment. But he can advise later, for now try to locate one from another Datsun/Nissan . Quote Link to comment
