Just wondering what you guys are running?

I know rb's are good but i just wanna see what else i can put.

i don't wanna lower this thing too much because it's a daily and don't wanna deal with the hassle

was thinking 17's or 16's to close the ugly wheel gap.

A 17" rim isn't going to close the wheel gap, it's the tire height that does this. A large enough tire on a 13" rim will fill the gap also. Your stock tire is 195/70R X 14 this is 24.75" tall. To add one inch all round to fill the wheel gap run a 215/75R14s which are 2" taller or 1 inch all around. 'Course this will total your performance by affecting your final drive ratio and your speedometer will be 4MPH out.

Inch and a half to two drop isn't going to be a hassle compared to new rims and new tires expense. Generally you can go up one rim size above stock before it doesn't look right, and trust me old cars with big rims look retarted. New cars are retarted looking to begin with. The fender is designed to fit a 14 or 15" on the zx. Seventeen will look donk.

Lowering also has the benefit of greatly improving the handling and breaking too, which makes driving more fun in a daily..

Well i've seen 17's and they don't look donk in my opinion. as well as fitting the gap, i want more rim rather than just tire. but yes, you are correct, bigger tires fill wheel wells.

i also want something different because i think a car looks a lot more solid with a set of rims that run flush rather than wheels that sit inside. my expense will obviously be budgeted and i understand lowering it is cheaper but if i were to lower it, i'd cut springs if anything. plus, im content with the handling and the way the car drives and don't want to ruin that.
