Mine where cut at some point in my cars life and Im looking to getting them back to fairly original height. I looked up Parts number for a 78 B210 and a 79 280zx and the part number for front coil spring came up the same. I guy has a set of used 79-83 280zx coil springs for for sale and was wondering if this is what would work for my 78 b210 to get it back up to an more original height. The new ones where almost $200 and these used ones are only $50, So can I use them or will they not work?? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted July 20, 2014 Report Share Posted July 20, 2014 Those coils can't be factory. The zx front coils are way way wider than the B-210 and will not fit up into the B-210 strut tower. If you want to raise the ride height simply Measure how much lift you want, (say2") remove the spring and add a 2" rubber spacer between the spring and the lower spring perch. These are interesting as you just slip in between the top hat and the strut tower. Quote Link to comment
