mini&therat Posted July 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 Existing tank is some overly welded thing that PO jerryrigged in there because they wanted a bigger gas tank. It is rusting, annoying because gauge doesn't work with it and I just want it back to stock. Quote Link to comment

mini&therat Posted July 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2014 Kicked myself in the pants and went to local junkyard and found one for 100$ which still has fuel level sender unit in it and looks pretty clean inside. Any ideas for best method for cleaning and repainting the outside other than just stripping it and repainting it? Also picking up a new OEM Nissan Fuel pump. Got the bed off the other day. So nice and easy to work on without that on. Pictures soon or I'll start a new thread for my rebuild to stock project. Quote Link to comment
