The NOOB

Ok so I'm the FNG. I just got my 1983 720 from my father-in-law who told me "if you get it running, you can have it!" I grew up turning wrenches on Chevy small block 350's so this is all new to me. I know what I want to do aesthetically to it. But I have no idea about getting the motor cranking, supposedly it needs 1 motor mounts and has a leaky fuel line issue. But it has literally sat in the driveway untouched for about 9 years. Where the hell do I start?!?!?!

I always find it uplifting to do some serious under the hood cleaning as well. All the stuff above, but degrease the worst of it as well. It makes it easier to discover the block is cracked. seriously, it seems like these little four bangers are pretty straightforward stuff. I rebuilt mine with just a modicum of help, and it runs (knock on wood) great now.
