lacombe620
Taking the sandblaster to it in the morning. It is a huge mess, broken bolts and break lines. All rubber is rotten and cracked, a mass of cash will be needed. 3 Quote Link to comment
spdcrazy
like quite a project! thanks for saving what a lot of none datsun guys would have scrapped. Looking forward to watching this build, what ya have planned? 1 Quote Link to comment
lacombe620
Going for a complete stock truck, well as close to stock as I can get. It will be a job to get the few things I am missing. First things first is getting frame done and new rubbers installed. Never tore a truck or car this far down, so it is a learning process for both me and my son. 2 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Love your build. The 65 66 520 is my favorite of all the Datsun Trucks. Last of the single headlight grilles. This is what I found for bushings for my cab to frame. These are a combination of part numbers from 620 and 720 that worked for me. Not exact fit but good enough to run. 2 Quote Link to comment
lacombe620
Found the frame number today, and finished striping it down. I had a bit of help, my second son with a wire brush and a putty knife scrapping and cleaning. 2 Quote Link to comment
lacombe620
Took me alot of time to get it that far down. Going to take the blaster to the rest tomorrow after work and get some primer on it. 2 Quote Link to comment
