Shorten the DL 4. add a walbro or MSD fuel pump. 5. custom radiator 6. put battery in trunk or run a really small one. 7. tons of little mods.... Quote Link to comment

tangent Posted May 26, 2007 Report Share Posted May 26, 2007 5 speed tranny out of a 280zx fit under my 521, should fit a 510 get the 81-83 non turbo 5speed better 5th gear. Then when you do the KA swap, you can use the 280 zx tranny as long as you put a NAP Z tranny belhousing on the 5speed.. At least thats the theory Ive gathered.. Quote Link to comment

You can modify yours to make it work its just easier to use the Dave Carrol one. is there a 5 speed trans that bolts in? :confused:the 1600 will do for now. :D Yes there are 3 that bolt in with the stock driveline length.... 1. Dogleg 79-81 200sx I believe 2.
