ggzilla
No carb needs the fuel line. * be sure the vent line is not blocked * some carbs will overflow without a return line This indicates that either the fuel.pressure is out of spec, or that the carb's inlet needle & seat needs replacement. Hitachis are rated for 3.8 psi, Weber's for 3.5 psi, but both usually work OK at up to 5 psi. 1 Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I'd use it. If nothing else, it keeps the fuel cool and prevents vapor lock. 3 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
The return line is strong with this one. Quote Link to comment
DanielC
If it really was not needed, Nissan would not have put it there in the first place. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Same for EGR, spark delay, etc. If the 510 didn't really need spark retard, Nissan would not have put it there. Or - could it be: When something has a purpose, a usefulness, it doesn't mean it is required? Quote Link to comment
