angliagt
The '78 B210 is in the garage, under "restoration",which means that I'm not doing anything to it right now.As the front/rear window gaskets need to be replaced,& I have the other window gaskets,I'm thinking that I need to stop,& make a crucial decision. Back in 1974,I read an article in Hot Rod Magazine, where they drove a modified B210 that Bob Sharp's shop had built.I've wanted to make a copy of that car, ever since I saw that article.I almost bought a new '74 to do just that, but it didn't work out. The problem is that our car is dark blue (mostly original paint),& the paint is in really good shape, but the project car was white, withe red & blue stripes. My dilemma is,should I just put it back together,& get it back on the road, or have it painted, before I do that? I also pulled the non-functioning A/C off of the car,& tossed it,but the parts car has A/C. WHAT DO I DO? - Doug Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Get it back on the road, then make it a replica. A replicar that doesn't drive is no fun. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Find a car that someone spray bombed and ruined the original paint, and make a replica with that. Original Datsuns are becoming as rare in the Datsun community as seeing a Datsun in public. Quote Link to comment
