The Dat-side
Do I need to replace it or is there a way to tighten or replace the bushing? http://i929.photobucket.com/albums/ad140/the_dat-side/70683779-426C-4AE6-9055-3F1C6A990106-3764-000007AF61526339_zps08dcc7df.mp4 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Yes, you should be able to press out the spherical bearing and press in a new one, unless it is the whole bushing (outer race) that is loose, in which case check if there is a missing clip, etc. What you're experiencing is one reason this style bushing isn't great in this application... ggzilla
Yes. Have you tried tightening the nut? It doesn't look turned down enough. http://s929.photobucket.com/user/the_dat-side/media/70683779-426C-4AE6-9055-3F1C6A990106-3764-000007AF61526339_zps08dcc7df.mp4.html Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
The nut is tight. The other side has the loosening nut. This is bushing moving around. I just reinstalled the front suspension after replacing ball joints, took it for a drive and this came up. I'll take them back out and see if it's a clip or if it needs replaced. Thanks. Laecaon
Yea, is the circlip missing? That could do it... Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
Looks like while I had the strut assembly out I must have spun the camber plate around and loosened the bottom that held the bushing in place. Just had to tighten it back up. Serves me right for getting cheap camber plates. Quote Link to comment
