Another good Canby, saw a roll over wreck on the way down, gave the winning truck ticket to the lucky mother fucker that won (congratulations, you deserved it!) and above all I learned to watch out for Gary Oldman....you know who...er....what you are.

Was a great 10th Anniversary Canby. Congrats to all the winners and especially to Rick.  You got yourself an awesome machine. Keep it on the road,LOL.

And a side note. If that lady becomes dnw president, I will have to really think about going to any dnw event. They way she treaded Al, she doesn't deserve it.

On a different note...

To those I already met/knew...

It was cool seeing you guys again

To all the new people I met, and it was a lot, pleasure is all mine.

So many of you I've been dying to meet.

To the people that met Flat Cat, to find out that really wasn't me...yeah, what's a Canby w/o some lolz?

At least that is what I was told.

What was it? 12? 15?

Smooth, Q.

And a Smoke sighting as well.

Guest Rick-rat

OK, where to start, First, Al (Denmarkboy) for supplying the truck and place to work on it. Thanks for all the people that contributed parts, money and labor to make this all happen. My fondest memories of this will be working with some of you on the build days and how the Community came together for this build.

Datzenmike, it was one of your tickets that won the truck, Q-tip gave me the winning ticket. Thank You very, very much

 Great to meet you Flatcat

Datwifey, thank you so much for the hats and the workshirts for the work crew on this truck, can't wait to wear it for the next build

This was one of the best weekends ever, My wife was super happy that she won one of the other raffle drawings, now she is going to want to come to all the shows

It was, Mike gave me the ticket and I gave it to rick. I HAD IT!!!! DAMMIT, I HAD IT!!!

You know damn well your number wouldn't have been called if you had it.

That was Rick's truck to win.

So whos hosting/organizing next years build hahaha.

Tricky question if you listened in on the banter being said about that.

I'm just damn glad I got to a Canby show before I can't. Yadidimean?

I enjoyed talking to the Bothwells. They put on a great event.

What a way for this project to wrap up! Rick, you are very welcome for the hat and shirt.

I wish that I was able to afford to get shirts for everyone who had also donated time and services toward parts and via PayPal as well, but the least that we could do was help Al get it done for all those who made it out to his place to help get that beauty to where it is now.

Everyone who lent any sort of helping hand toward this project deserves a hand shake and thank you.

Rick, welcome to the 521 crew. I can't wait to see this at our local meets!

Rick, it was an honor meeting you.

This truck, and now you, have some very cool stories to share.

I hope someone got a pic of Rick while on stage. Classic.

I had a very small hand in the truck Saturday morning.

I cleaned the plugs and assisted as Pumkin fiddled with the time.

Also got the honor of driving it to its display.

Stoked I could do something with it.

Fucking Canby!

Great show.. even better ending!

It was great meeting everyone. I took about 3 pictures.... and I posted them right away. I the truck crew was busy this weekend!

I hope you all enjoyed the live feeds. I know the quality wasn't the best.. that's the best I could do on a 4G hotspot.

Datwifey, great meeting you. Thanks for the hat and super rad shirts!

fucking gary oldman

As "Smoke" was leaving for good-we yelled "Smoke sighting" near Hobo.

Guess who went running after the yellow 710.

The WTF look on his face when he got to the window-almost as priceless as ricks as the last number was called.

Holy fuck, what a great Canby!  I am now home in Spokompton.  Things seem quite, rather nice.  I kept dawdling and so didn't catch up with Moomin' and Mohammed, but I was only 6 miles behind them as the crow flies.  For the record, I left Canby at 5:30, stopped for an unrelated 510 wagon who had been pulled over for a broken taillight and then the wagon wouldn't restart.  The cop was quite cool.  I backed up at asked if he needed any spare parts, lol.  Orange wagon, stock L16, anyway, just bought it from somewhere and was driving it back to Montana.  His support car was a fellow whose name I can't remember, said he was on hybrid z.  Anyway, that was cool, they got it running, the cop was digging the Datsun comradery.  Then got into Pasco just barely behind Mohammed and Moomin' and ate at the same DQ, missed them by 6 minutes, didn't think I was quite that close.

Fuck me, I'm tired right now.  Anyway, spent a half hour eating dinner, thus not catching even though I was averaging 85 mph and had Wynona to 95 and even 105 mph for a while.  Ran her ragged all the way back, no issues.  Mohammed had a heater hose pop off and the 610 started to overheat but he fixed that quickly and then everything was fine.

All in all, a great time, glad Rick won the truck, glad Keith screwed with everybody on the Flatcat front, and I'll have lots to upload tomorrow, but for now I'm beat.  Sleeping.
