Kathos
Im looking at getting some camber in the front of my 710. I know people recommend either the t3 or the gc camber plate. Being that the t3 is a little bit more affordable Ill ask about that. Im currently using 280zx struts with 710 springs 710 Upper spring retainer and 280zx Upper spring hat. Can the t3 bolt onto this setup? Since the 710 spring is large, there wont be much adjustment but Im just interested. If I went with a gc Coilover setup, can I use the t3 as a bolt-on with that setup? T3 sells an adaptor plate, is this needed? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
zerow
I have T3 Camber Plates on my 610. I swapped the stock spring perch for coilover spring perches for more adjustability. There simply is not enough room with the stock springs in the space given in a 610/710 - it will rub depending on the amount of adjustment you want for camber. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You could fit 280ZX rear springs. They are smaller diameter and stiffer. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
I asked T3 a few years ago ... and they said there were no top-hats available for stock springs and camber plates ... you will need coilovers Quote Link to comment
Kathos
Okay well that settles that. T3 bolt up to groundcontrol 510 coilovers? Adaptor plate needed? Im sure anyone with t3's could answer that Quote Link to comment
Kathos
I called T3. They said t3 can bolt up to the GC coilovers. You just need to buy the Camber plate upper hat system https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/510/camber-plate-upper-hat-system-datsun-510. They said if you call in, they can hook you up with both for $230. Not too shabby! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Ground Control kit with new springs is $219 http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/category.php/CA=27 Quote Link to comment
