skid650
I recently lowered my car, 2" lowering block and 1 1/2" in the front but just cut the springs. I'm wondering if they're are any coilovers with damp/camber kit that will bolt on. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Sure are. Any generic Datsun kit works same as 510. Before you do that, be sure to reset the toe-in, as lowering changes it. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Also be sure the three bolts on the top hat are aligned properly. The 710 hats are off set slightly and one of the three positions moves the strut inwards slightly. Take the cap off the strut tower and look down. If on right, the strut nut will appear to be off towards the engine side. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
So the 710 has a built-in method of adjusting camber & castor? Cool. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Well a slight amount, yup. 510 guys have been known to strip them from old 710s and use them for that. Quote Link to comment
