So far i have replaced both window felts, door squeeqez and door seals!!! this has gone a long way at sealing up the car from weather and wind, much quiter and feels solid... :thumbup: :thumbup: Needing some LOVE: Getting some LOVE: GOT A LITTLE MESSY WITH ATHE LOVE :blush: Trunk seal is also new, no picks of that facinating install though :crying: Next up is ordering new T3 door cards, kick panels and rear quarters to complete the interior. FirstDime Posted August 15, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2014 Pinion sleeve and speedo gear are toast!!! no wonder my speedometer has not been working :devil: :devil: :devil: New pinion sleeve installed and speedometer gear replaced :thumbup: :thumbup: Still needing a new cable though because mine has a break somewhere so its not spinning my speedometer, at least the pinions shows the gear is working properly when the tires spin so just need to get a new cable... Out with the old and in with the new transmission and diff fluids :thumbup: :thumbup: i can feel the transmission is much happier and my shifting feels real nice after breaking in the oil... dirty little whole.... :rofl: :rofl: Looks like plastic shavings from the beat up speedometer gear. all better now :thumbup: 1 Quote Link to comment
FirstDime Posted August 15, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2014 onto the fun stuff now.... new headers to install :thumbup: removed.... comparison to the old :poop: :poop: :poop: look at all that glorious space, the old hooker header was so BIG we had to take the fucking steering box out :sneaky: :sneaky: Steering box out!!! took it to the parts washer, then sanded it down for a few solid coats of primer and ceramic paint :w00t: :w00t: New headers, new carb and intake manifold and new hardware of course :ninja: Stay tuned, got to put it all back together and then back to the muffler shop followed by dialing in the carb and timing :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: 2 Quote Link to comment
