AtomChurch
I had a bunch of pieces for coilover bits from different projects laying around. So I threw a set together. Just for fun to see how it would work. The springs are a little bit big. But they do fit. Haven't driven it yet. I need to get new bolts for the bottom and modify a washer so I can get the bushings on the top. haha. I suppose Ill just see how they work tomorrow. Or if they do. 2 Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
Also had a time of it getting the head rests out of the seats. There is secret locking buttons in the back that you have to stretch the fabric to remove. 1 Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
The lowest they go. But what a world of difference giving the thing some acceleration and not slamming into the bump stops. haha. Or I suppose lack of bump stops... A little bit stiff, but maybe better with a full tank of gas and a battery tie down.. haha. 4 Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
Took the speedo apart today to clean all the connections. A 68 owner will know what that means for the dash removal. I didn't take photos. Just got it over with. haha. I had a spare speedo from a 521 cluster I robed for parts. they are easily swap able. Just go slow. The back of the 68 cluster has mounting holes for both styles already. Tested the 68 speedo out, still works. Who would have guess that! So I put it back. also got a clock installed. Seems to be a bit fast. Ill see tomorrow if it drains my battery all the way down.. The test drive showed the speedo actually working. Maybe Ill video it tomorrow. 7 Quote Link to comment
