datson4life
Heres the issue, in 5th gear 3.5k rpm to 4.5k rpm, there is alot of vibration, after 4.5k rpm its super soft Does drive line need rebalancing, or does that sound like a transmission issue? Ka24de with ka tranny One piece driveline Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Sounds like a driveshaft issue. Quote Link to comment
kelowg
But at those rpm sitting still in nuetral does still do it? Also ck in N rolling down the road. That well help narrow it down. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
If it does it in neutral, suspect the driveshaft. It is unlikely to be transmission unless its the tailshaft bushing Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The driveshaft has to be custom so look for damage like a dent that may have put a very small wow in it. Look for a clean patch near either U joint where a balance weight may have recently fallen off. Last, inspect the U joints for ANY looseness in any direction, other than just turning. If not sure replace joint. 1 Quote Link to comment
