I assume this is the block vent. It should have a pipe from it through or behind the exhaust manifold and from it a rubber hose to the PCV valve mounted on the intake.

It's the orange pipe below. This is for an L16 or 18 but yours may be different.

That metal pipe should go to a rubber hose (this one is silver) like the one at the top of this picture. It is connected to the PCV valve on the intake.

Is this what you have? Having that pipe connected will allow oil spray time to settle and run back into the engine.

Its almost similar to the picture just that it doesnt have the orange pipe it just has a hole in the same place,I have a pic of watim talking about justt that I'm new here and dont know how 2 post it here maybe u have an email I could send it 2 u.are u also sayn that its normal for oil 2 push out if the pipe is missing and I dont have to change oil rings?

Yeah that looks like an L20B engine.

The hole is the block vent and should have a screen down inside it to collect oil mist and spray. There should be a tube connecting it to the intake to draw out any warm moist vapors from the block. Oil shouldn't be coming out of it but the pipe isn't on either.
