javier302
wondering what should I pay for a decent set of wheels that need new rubber, 15x10 -25. and would they fit a 71 521 ? thanks Quote Link to comment
laotsu
they fit on the back but might be kinda wide for the front I run 15x10 rear and 14x6 front for that sweeeeeeeet seventies look. Quote Link to comment
javier302
post a pic. I've seen on here a pic of a light green 521 with the 10's all around, I think it might be nsrs30's truck, found an old thread but somebody quoted a pic so I'm not sure Quote Link to comment
laotsu
Go look at the rims and wheels thread 2 Quote Link to comment
javier302
Just trying to see if they're with a couple of hundred or more. If it's a good deal I would scoop em up. Thanks 1 Quote Link to comment
javier302
Will they fit a 521? With that offset? Are they worth a couple of hundred bucks ? Quote Link to comment
laotsu
$500 is kinda high IMO. Should be able to to talk him down to half that... should. 1 Quote Link to comment
javier302
Got him down to 3, once I fix my brakes I'm gonna go by and test fit em. Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
Did you get them? Quote Link to comment
javier302
no, I don't know If I will, after doing my brakes, I learned a little about my truck, the rear is newer than what I was told, seems to be out of a 720, that's why my rear wheels stick out a bit, so I'm trying to figure out how much positive offset I would need to tuck em in like the fronts... unless I try the 15x10's and if I like em, run some flares... mikeanike99
I have set of 15x8 prime rims -11 offset for sale or will they not tuck? Quote Link to comment
javier302
do u have a pic of them ? I'm new to the Datsun scene, and I'm not sure if -11 would tuck em, specially in a 720 rear, I'm gonna have to pull one of my wheels off and figure the space I have to the fender and how much I can go back and go from there. ggzilla
15x10 set of four for $500 is about same as new alloy rim price. So unless you want that exact style, keep looking. Styled steel 15x10 on the other hand can be purchased for $68 each brand new. 1 Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I've got a set of those 15x10 Turbines if you've got your heart set on them. 0 offset, I believe Quote Link to comment
javier302
I would have to see how they fit/look. I'm probably gonna end up buying d windows so I can order a set with I believe positive offset for the rear... Quote Link to comment
