datzenmike Posted May 19, 2014 Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 Washers perhaps. The bolt can be tightened a bit but don't over squeeze those two fingers together too much and break them. Also the join between shifter and striker rod must be just loose enough to work like a door hinge. Quote Link to comment

Is it any wonder these A series transmissions were referred to as the 'Monkey Motion' shifter? A well earned title. Quote Link to comment
