Nissan Part Number: 13231-78201. This lifter is the one recommended in the NISMO catalog for performance A series engines. And yes it's for a nissan diesel engine, they have larger head on them, prevents uneven wear on camshaft lobs.

Hi!

I will keep the original springs. For the moment i want only increase some power at mid range and top rpm 6000rpm.

I ask to Iskenderian a moderate regrind.

My A12 actual cam performance is:         WITH THE ISKENDERIAN GRIND

total intake timing   248º                                            266º
open before tdc       14º                                              24º
close after bdc         54º                                              62

total exhaust timing   248º                                         266º
open before bdc         56º                                            62º
close after tdc             12º                                            24º

with is regrind I think i wont need double springs.

i bought the Lifters from the ebay, they are from a Datsun 720 Diesel.

They will fit ok on my A12 engine?
I choose the model and they inform me were not compatible. In othe way the nismo catalog recomend them for racing cams.

Many thanks

Hi!

I ve one doubt, i bought on ebay the lifters in a Nissan package

Nissan LIFTERS - Clevite 213-1729 or Genuine Nissan 13231-78201

I dont know what it means clevite...... its a another brand???

MahleClevite made parts for Nissan????

My lifters are not original......

Luis, perfect jobs rarely made it on to the road, do your best and drive the piss out of it! That's what 1200's are all about, I know my mentor, in auto cross, is constantly telling me to push harder, 1200 engines are amazingly TOUGH! I have had my stock engine over 6,600 rpm many time this passed year- it runs great!

Hi!

It is possible put a distribuitor datsun 1200 gx model on a datsun 1200 normal model. The number of gears are the same?

I think it fits but i dont have 100%  the dwell is difrent too?

Im tempting to buy it on ebay to upgrade and restore my spare engine (better camshaft, twin mikunis, flat top pistons, large exhaust)

What do you think, it will makes a big difrence?

Many thanks on advance.
